TOLLIP forma un complejo con Tom1 para regular la transferencia endosómica de proteínas ubiquitinadas. Puede regular negativamente la señalización de los receptores tipo Toll, lo que puede limitar la producción de mediadores proinflamatorios durante el proceso de inflamación e infección.
