La N-glicosilasa/ADN liasa humana (OOG1) es una enzima reparadora del ADN perteneciente a la familia OGG1 tipo 1. La OOG1 incide en el ADN a nivel de los residuos 8-oxoG y extrae 7,8-dihidro-8-oxoguanina y 2,6-diamino-4-hidroxi-5-N-metilformamidopirimidina (FAPY) del ADN dañado. Presenta actividad β-liasa que mella el ADN en la dirección 3' de la lesión. La OOG1, junto con APEX1, se recluta en las motas nucleares de las células irradiadas con UVA. Las mutaciones del gen OGG1 pueden causar carcinoma renal.
