El CD41, también conocido como integrina α2b y GPIIb, es una glucoproteína transmembrana expresada por plaquetas y megacariocitos. Se ha descrito que el CD41 también se expresa en progenitores hematopoyéticos. El CD41 se asocia con el CD61 (integrina β3) para formar complejos que interactúan con el fibrinógeno, la fibronectina, el factor de von Willebrand y la trombina. El CD41 es necesario para la adhesión y agregación plaquetaria. Un defecto del CD41 provoca trastornos de la coagulación.
